ArtSketch Guide ("we," "us," or "our") is an online service that converts your photos into step-by-step painting guides. Our website is imagetoartbrush.com.

Account information. When you register, we collect your email address and the display name you choose. We do not collect your full legal name unless you provide it.
Photos you upload. To generate a painting guide, you upload a photo. That photo is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (S3) and used only to produce your guide.
Generated guides and gallery. The painting guides and reference images you save are stored in your gallery. You control whether they are private or publicly shared.
Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles all payment data under their own security standards (PCI-DSS Level 1). We store only your Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription.
Usage data. We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). This helps us diagnose issues and understand how the app is used.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Each of these services is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
You own your photos and the guides generated from them. By uploading a photo, you grant ArtSketch Guide a limited license to store and process it solely for the purpose of generating your guide. We do not use your photos to train machine learning models or share them with any third party except for storage on AWS S3.
Your account data and gallery are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your photos, guides, and personal information are permanently deleted within 30 days. Payment records may be retained longer where required by law.

We use only essential cookies required to keep you logged in (a JWT session token stored in your browser). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not load any third-party tracking scripts.
ArtSketch Guide is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage (AWS S3), HTTPS-only access, hashed passwords, and short-lived authentication tokens. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users.
